Škorpilovtsi (Bulgarian: Шкорпиловци) is a village in Varna region, Bulgaria, on the Black Sea coast. Škorpilovci was named in honour of Czech archaeologists, brothers Karel and Hermenegild Škorpilov. Škorpilovi is a resort located 35 km south of Varna. It is an exceptionally peaceful and friendly place to relax, with a wide beach, mineral springs, coniferous and period forests. Nearby is the Longoza nature reserve. To the north and south, the reserve is bordered by two arms of the river Skorpilovska, which flows into the Black Sea. Here lies Cape Black Cape (Karaborun), which rises to a height of 80 m and is the northernmost point of the Balkan Mountains - the Old Plain, where the Balkan Mountains touch the sea, where the pristine beach and the mountains overflow and create an unusual landscape combining the harmonious sound of the sea waves and the pleasant coolness of the forest.
